This Privacy Policy describes how Discount Calculator (“the App”) handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. The data controller responsible for your information is luvleelab, reachable at the contact address below.
The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, or payment details directly, and we do not operate our own servers that store your data.
Limited data is collected by the third-party services listed below in order to run advertising, process purchases, measure usage, and report crashes. Depending on your choices, this may include: device identifiers (including the Advertising Identifier / IDFA where permitted), approximate (coarse) location derived from your IP address, ad-interaction and usage data, purchase records, and crash and performance diagnostics.
The App uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect limited data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
The App displays ads through Google AdMob to users who have not purchased Pro. Users who have purchased Pro do not see ads, and no advertising-related data is collected from them.
Consent for users in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Before ads are shown, we present a Google-certified consent message (a Consent Management Platform) that asks for your consent, as required by the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, to use your data and to store or access information on your device for advertising purposes. Ads are not requested until you have responded. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from Settings › Privacy Options inside the App.
App Tracking Transparency (all users). iOS also asks, via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether you allow tracking using your Advertising Identifier (IDFA). If you decline, ads are non-personalised; however, information may still be stored on or accessed from your device to deliver ads to the extent permitted by your consent above. You can change this choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your device.
Where the GDPR (or UK GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
Analytics data sent to Mixpanel is processed on Mixpanel’s EU-based servers and is not stored outside the EEA. Our other processors (Google, RevenueCat and Sentry) are based in the United States, so the data they collect may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries outside the EEA/UK. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Please refer to each processor’s privacy policy for details.
We do not retain your data on our own servers. Each third-party processor retains data for the period described in its own privacy policy. Your calculation history is stored only on your device and remains there until you clear it or delete the App.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Because your data is held by the third-party processors listed above rather than by us, you can exercise these rights directly through each service’s privacy policy, or contact us at the address below and we will assist and forward your request where possible.
The optional price scanner uses your camera together with Apple’s on-device text recognition to read prices. Images are processed entirely on your device; no photos or camera data are stored by the App or transmitted to us or any third party.
Your calculation history is stored entirely on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
